The Association of Investigating, Extracting, Transforming Mining-Metallurgical Companies, Auxiliary and Service Companies (AMINER) is a non-profit entity that represents the main companies in the metallic mining sector and their associated auxiliary fabric in Andalusia, defending their interests and raising awareness of the benefits that sustainable mining activity brings to the economy.

This 29th edition has focused on the improvements that Artificial Intelligence is introducing in mining companies, with applications that allow predicting the physical properties of rocks, satellite radar observation, or optimizing mining-industrial processes such as environmental management or safety.

MiningiDEAS participated in these sessions sponsored by the Andalusian Government with the presentation by Ariana Carrazana and Francisco Arévalo, members of our technological partner PI DATA Strategy & Consulting. In a hybrid session, they explained how to optimize mining production with the support of AI through Machine Learning and Clustering Techniques.
