In this session, Engineer Fernández discusses the simulation and analysis of fire scenarios in mining with Sublevel Stoping exploitation methods using Ventsim Visual software.
Engineer Fernández presented a case study for an underground mine exploited using the Sublevel Stoping method, with a comprehensive analysis of different fire situations including risk analysis, estimation of fire loads, fire simulation results, mitigation measures, and evacuation routes resulting from the analysis.
